Rules and Specificiations of the Contest
- The prize is a four night trip for two from the Cleveland-based charter from
Apple Vacations that departs every Sunday. Dates will be a Sunday during
September or October 2011 that works well for both the winner and also for
Polaris Traveler. Package includes the air, transfers to and from the resort,
and the all-inclusive resort will have a 5 or 6 Apple rating and will be chosen
by Polaris Traveler. Taxes are not included.
- You must be an 18 or older to enter and only one entry per household.
- All persons entering this drawing must have a passport prior to travel.
- All persons entering must reside in Greater Central Ohio.
- All information listed as being required must be filled out and accurate. Any
false information will result in the entry not being in the drawing.
- There will be three buckets of which these entries will be entered in: 1) for
anyone who qualifies based on the criteria listed above, 2) for any past
passenger of Polaris Traveler, and 3) for anyone who books a trip in one of the
remaining Apple charter dates departing from Columbus every Sunday through
04/17/11. The drawing will be held on the Wednesday following the 04/17 charter
departure, although an upcoming birth in the family of the owners of Polaris
Traveler may delay this drawing for a day or two. Two entries will be drawn from
each of the three buckets. Then all six finalists will be contacted and welcome
to witness this drawing. Anyone who has entered may attend the initial drawing
as well if they wish by calling or e-mailing us earlier in the week when we hope
to have established an exact day and time.
- Employees of Polaris Traveler or the Dispatch or anyone affiliated with any
other travel professional is not eligible for this drawing.
Why are we giving away this trip?
The simple answer is that we believe this drawing will help us determine how
many people are reading and paying attention to these ads in the Sunday paper.
